Wasini Island & Kisite Marine Snorkeling Tour | Dolphin Watching from Mombasa & Diani

6:00 AM – Pick Up (North Coast, Mombasa) Your adventure begins with hotel pick-up from the North Coast general area, starting the scenic drive south toward Shimoni.

6:30 AM – Ferry Crossing Cross the Likoni Ferry, connecting Mombasa Island to the South Coast mainland.

8:00 AM – Pick Up (Diani) Guests staying in Diani are picked up and join the group en route to Shimoni.

9:00 AM – Arrival in Shimoni Arrive at Shimoni village for a short 15-minute briefing covering safety guidelines and the day's activities.

9:30 AM – Boarding Board the boat and set off for the Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park, keeping an eye out for playful dolphins along the way.

11:00 AM – Kisite Marine Park Snorkeling Arrive at Kisite Marine Park, one of East Africa's top snorkeling destinations, and explore vibrant coral reefs and marine life with your guide and provided snorkeling mask.

1:00–1:30 PM – Departure to Wasini After snorkeling, the boat heads to Wasini Island for a well-earned lunch break.

2:30 PM – Lunch at Wasini Island Enjoy a traditional Swahili seafood lunch at a local restaurant on Wasini Island (extra seafood platter available at USD 40).

3:30 PM – Village Walking Tour A short 15-minute guided walk through Wasini village, offering a glimpse into local coastal life and culture.

4:00 PM – Return to KWS Jetty The boat returns to the KWS Jetty in Shimoni, marking the end of the marine excursion.

4:15 PM – Optional Shimoni Cave Visit For those interested, an optional visit to the historic Shimoni Slave Caves rounds out the day before the drive back to Diani/North Coast.
